I really love this scene where Peter talks to Dylan. I remember losing my father, majority of the people around talked at me rather than to me. Reading this made me wish I had someone like Peter who said it was okay to feel the way I felt during my greiving period. This is one of the reasons I love Donny Cates stories.

Oh my God. So sorry for your loss. Thank you for continuing to push through the pain and narrating these amazing stories. When I lost my dad it took me about 2 months to recover and be somewhat of myself again. Family, friends and staying busy was the best remedy.
There are no words man. My mom was the best friend I will ever have & lost her to cancer 6 months ago while she was looking me in the eyes. Feels like 6 minutes ago. You doin what u love has helped me 15-20 minutes at a time & i sincerely thank u for u doing u. 🙏🏽
