Men who are mostly after more media minutes could gain a lot of attention for themselves with the trash talk, and the “handsome” brothers vs Hall’s bright red gourd on the tiny screens! @againsthate The first knockdown was basically a slip/Thor got caught with a wild punch. I remember the look in Eddie's eyes when he got knocked down. The fight was CLEARLY over at that point. However I do have to give Eddie props for getting back up and not giving up when it was clear that he had 0 chance of winning.

Mariusz is most likely going to win, but his weakness is that he isn’t very technical. Mariusz usually wins through his brute power and aggression, throwing mighty powerful windmill punches and leg kicks.

Mariusz is older but has a much more favorable build and FAR more skill. Eddie would have no reasonable chance against him. Although at super heavyweight they always have "a punchers chance". As the body scales up, the ability to deliver KO strikes to the cranium outpaces they ability to absorb impacts, so KO's are much more common between heavier men.

@@TheJoker-yz8dv sure he's a mediocre fighter at best when compared to UFC or Bellator roster, but at the end of the day Pudzian's record in MMA is 17-9 and Eddie's is 0 (I hope everyone agrees that this shitshow with the Neffati brothers doesn't count). And out of those 9 losses for Pudzian, most of them were versus really good fighters like Khalidov (multiple times KSW champ) or Karol Bedorf (another KSW champ). What's Eddie's opposition, two midgets and Thor? Like cmon brother, Eddie has no chances.

@@vredneckvi agree. Eddie isn’t even a low level boxer. Mariusz is older yes but he is a pro mma fighter. Eddie couldn’t beat the lowest ranked pro around. It’s no knock on Eddie but he is just not a pro fighter.

@@Kado1609mariusz trained in jujitsu before strongman. I think he was a 4/5th degree black belt. He has been fighting mma since 2009. Eddie has been mildly boxing for what…a year? He didn’t even really train hard for the Thor fight.

first of all, Mariuzs at 275lbs was a better strongmen than Eddie could ever be. Eddie had to bloat up to 450 almost dying a few times and only won 1 WSM.

You’re only as good as you’re last fight and although mariusz last fight was not great for him, pushing 50, and being smaller than Eddie, he has way more mma experience and probably can match Eddie in punching and kicking power. Still making him one of the most physically dangerous men on the planet

My two cents: I am a strongman fan. I don't care for this BS at all. Hall has made a fool of himself with his Tik Tok adolescent antics. I want to se these guys lift and compete. No BS cringe fights, eating contests, pissing about with RU-vids etc. Makes strongman appear less of a proper sport and more like a freakshow/circus act

I’m so glad I watched that live. I don’t know how much they paid Eddie but I bet you it was not cheap. I’m a huge mma fan and a huge strongman fan. This fight was funny. A fight between Eddie and Mariusz would be awesome. Mariusz has the experience. But Eddie Hall has been training with Tom Aspinall and in my opinion Eddie is stronger than Mariusz. So it would be a good fight.

Also, those twins have experience doing MMA. They have been an MMA fight so that was not their first fight. They usually get paid to do a weird fight two verses two. I’m just saying it was not their first fight. They do have experience they do train MMA.

@@PeterParkerWebslinger3 There are very few guys over that weight that are good enough to beat a top-10 heavyweight. Just go look at all the PRIDE fights with guys like Bob Sapp, Hong Man Choi etc. who unlike Eddie actually have skills and experience, but there seems to be a limit to how big you can get and still be effective, be it height or muscle mass.

Eddie is not the athlete that Mariusz was. Mariusz would absolutely destroy Edide in his peak. Eddie was always great at static events and Mariusz was the kind of dynamic events. Fighting is a very dynamic thing.

Eddie could not beat Marius in MMA without at least two years further training. Similarly, Shaw couldn't beat Levan in an armwrestling comp. Shaw could be good, but Levan is the best there has ever been, its no competition.
