As a fanbase we need to back our man - he will bring turn it around. The reason we have such high ambition is because of the wonders Eddie pulled off in those first 18 months. Absolutely no one saw it coming. We can’t be acting spoilt, we’ve come a long way.
I'm also a massive fan and believer in Eddie, for me , I regard him as part of the Geordie family, and we don't turn on our fam. He has brought so much excitement and hope back into this city and club, and that is not forgotten on me, He is also a lovely guy and very talented, and we should protect him. HWTL

people forget where we were a few years ago, we have just had an injury ridden season dont understand how eddie howe can be even thought about being replaced, hes incredible, disgusting that its even a thought to replace him.
Spot on keith, most fans are well behind eddie. Look at difference yesterday when had willock back and options from bench. We have had horrendous injury list , tonali banned and very hard fixtures nealy all away in cups , on top of hardest group in champions league. He deserves next season after getting some new players in sunmer and having more squad depth.
Barring maybe 2 or 3 results , he couldn’t have done much better with the personnel he’s had available. People are quick to forget he improved almost EVERY player in this squad - quite a few were basically write- offs. That’s top top coaching and man management
alright keith Eddie our best manager we've had for years he's our future the injuries we've had as hit us hard playing the same players as taking back flack on them now we getting the players back it will be a turning point for us and ffp hasn't help us in the transfer market
Thanks Keith, a real bit of common sense. I'm tired of some of the 'talking heads' on some of the forums and Tube Channels being so negative. We took a massive hit with regards to suspensions and injuries just a couple of weeks after we spanked Villa. Our Midfield was completely desimmated with all honesty. Yeah, we still need another Centre Forward - possibly two if we let go of Wilson in the summer as expected, a decent Number 6 and maybe another Centre-Back (or two due to losing Dummet and Lascelles). We're still building and that will take time - but we now have the team we always wanted: One that tries!

It's fine to disagree with formations, tactics etc., but those who are questioning Eddie's position because they think we should be in the top 6 despite the injuries etc., are showing the childish entitlement usually shown by Man Utd & Liverpool fans. If you can't support the manager & team after this season's run of bad luck then the toon isn't the club for you.
Every journey to the top there is period of plateau. EH managed in the UCL for the first time in his career. A lot of the players first experience in the UCL too. We're fine. EH is going a great job! HOWAY THE LADS
Ffs after all the injuries we have had this season what do fans expect! MCFC and Chelsea have had 10 years to build teams without restrictions Eddie Howe is the man for the job he needs at least 5 years to take us from a yo-yo team to a top 4 and then judge him!
People have short memories dont they. This year has been extremely difficult on pretty much every level so it would be nice to see some calm and common sense.
Give him at least next season with players like tonali back hopefully without the injury problems and plus a few new signings. I would take the Europe conference as it's a trophy we can win and it breaks that duck
Sky and the rest of them just love the fact we are not doing very well,and for the rest of other teams supports would like to think that us Newcastle fans want Eddie out I still think that maybe he has90% of the fan base,just the injuries have crippled us this season,maybe those on social media or if win he great but if we lose he should go.i really hope that he would get at least another season but like for me a few more yrs as our manager
It's simple iff EH had a full squad of fit players then we would be in a much better position in league ..we have been decimated with long term freakish injuries as we all know ...but to suggest and even start new manager gossip is down right disrespectful considering what EH and his team have managed in the short time they have been at NUFC...Hes not perfect by any means and seems to have a stubborn streak regarding who he prefers in the first 11 but all in all give the guy a break ..Thanks for the blog Keith
I believe EH will manage next season as I feel this season has been very difficult for the various reasons that has been given. My only concern with EH is his lack of willingness to try a different format with those players he has had at line to potentially preventing some of those draws to a win. I am sure we will finish better now some of those injuries are returning but as EH I will be supporting the Toon next season no mater what happens this season.👍
Eddie has made huge steps for the whole club with a depleted squad and ffp restrictions, i dont think there is a manger out there who could have done a better job,
If Eddie gets replaced, usually the incoming manager would bring his own backroom staff in therefore, it would be back to square one, and it would take a few seasons to get up and running. Makes no sense at all to sack Eddie.
Genuinely baffled as to why anyone would even question Eddie Howe's tenure at Newcastle? The season has been a nightmare for injuries - especially with a squad not exactly rich in depth with quality in the first place? Do people really expect injured players coming back to be firing on all cylinder's straight away also? 95% of fans are behind Eddie Howe...and want him to succeed. I was horrified to hear that question at the press conference. Disrespectful little shit!
There is a lot of talent waiting to be blooded into the premier league for Newcastle, they are building for the future. Eddie must be given another 2 full seasons to let his plan have a chance to succeed. Is the Aston villa manager rumored to be replaced. The press hunt in packs and cause most of the problems on the pretense they do it for the fans, they don’t.

Who wants to play on a Thursday and a Sunday throughout the season next year ? I don't. I think the Europa league and the Europa conference is an absolute pile of C**p and I would rather opt out if the option is there . if you win either you have still won nowt. Saturday and Wednesday is for Football..and 3 of the clock kick offs Saturday afternoons for me please.

imho... EH was ear marked for replacement at the end of the season after the european exit to milan at home... it is not altogether a surprise; our away form is horrendous, EH tries to defend a 1 goal lead by defending deep... & loyalty rather than being ruthless with starting xl selections which have hurt us against the quicker teams... personally, i am not surprised.
It's not about winning, it never was. It has been about giving it everything to try and win but we are in relegation form and we are making some of the worst teams in the league and championship look like prime Barcelona every week. Our goalkeeper is now consistently man of the match. There is something fundamentally wrong with our attitude tactics selection and how we play. The injuries excuse is old and the but we are tired excuse is ridiculous. If it was upto the fans we wouldn't win anything for another 60 years. Howe is looking like he has lost the dressing room.
the linked manager is mean PIF already lost confident in eddie howe and very unhappy, every team are now confident to get 3 points from nufc ,they know howe 's tactics . no one can safe him he can safe his job with his performance.
