After consuming a lot of content Eddie was involved in I truly believed all he smokes is cubans and davidoffs and I always wished to hear him speak about some new world cigars. I'm a fan of E.P. Carillo and My Father Cigars. I would love to see more content about the new world. Cheers from Germany
Thank you, Eddie, for the fantastic interview and highlighting the diversity of new-world cigars. It reminds us that, as excellent as Cuban cigars are, there are equally impressive options out there that global consumers should eagerly explore.
What an incredible coincidence. I am placing an order with bonutique cigars. And I saw you uploaded this lovely interview. Enjoying listening to you both talk, while waiting for my order :)
Am thoroughly enjoying a Zino brand Nicaraguan this afternoon. New world cigars are just as enjoyable as Cubans, such a variety. Wonderful video and conversation as always.
Enjoyed this video smoking a nice cigar and sipping a whiskey in beautiful Savannah, Georgia. Looking forward to visiting the shop the next time I am in London and then heading over to Dukes for martini.
I first encountered El Viejo Continente with their The Circus Vulcano Special Edition - a curious looking cone-shaped stick. It was delicious, while being a bit of a nuisance to cut! Needed to lop off a good amount of it to get my preferred draw! All these sticks that are shown here look very interesting, thank you gentlemen for the brilliant video.
Greetings, It's good to know that non-cuban cigars are entering the UK market steadily. For the following showcased cigars in the episode, most of them are pretty good as a daily smoke but I believe the prices are somewhat higher there in UK. For El Viejo Continente I like the Mare Nostrum line the best, great presentation and neat flavours, The circus has a twister vitola which I like as well it's a barberpole Torpedo with claro and oscuro wrapper. Buffalo ten for me seems slightly weird to smoke also had some burn issues and some ugly looking ash although they don't lack in taste profile and pretty wallet friendly (Not sure about UK market, In Germany it goes to about 6€), Liked the Buffalo Ten Natural the most out of all Three. Puro Ambar was below average cigar for me also had a tunneling burn issue but have only smoked 5 out of which 4 had this issue. Dapper El Borracho is pretty good cigar good construction and stable solid ash, right amount of tobacco, this cigars suits my palate well with rich earthy and Chocalate taste notes but I honestly prefer "Crowned Heads le Carème" from regular production it is around same price range more or less but much better in my opinion it has been a regular box purchase for me since last year, I would recommend to try this atleast once.
Nice video, and I'm glad Dapper is getting some love over there in London. Eddie, is AJ Fernandez distributing to London? What about Aladino/JRE? I'd love to hear your thoughts on their corojo vs cuban grown.
i have been waiting for what feels like forever for boutique smokes to restock the kafie 1901 cigars. these cigars truly are an amazing smoke especially the kafie Sumatra
Always a great video, seeing you true gentleman converse over a cigar…. If you’d like to shake it up and have some contrast in a video, for example, a conversation with Eddie(a true gentleman) and an absolute peasant…. I’m your guy! Let me know, I can fly to London anytime
There has been exquisite cigars that aren't cuban for the past 40 years. Where have you guys been? Oh yeah that's right, buying government owned cubans and letting chinese and communist investors jack the prices up over cigars from a now underdeveloped land producing the worst crops in history.
