Eddie Murphy chatted with “Extra’s” Megan Ryte as he hit the red carpet for “Candy Cane Lane.” He spoke about why he finally decided to do a Christmas movie and his onscreen reunion with David Alan Grier. He also shared if he’ll have a holiday reunion with “Boomerang” co-star Martin Lawrence - Eddie’s son dates his daughter! “Candy Cane Lane” is on Prime Video December 1.

I think he's talking about the characters of Boomerang. Also Boomerang was filmed in 1991 and Eddie could have been still in his 20s while filming.
