Ok, I have to add this... Eddie was a great kisser too! Years ago I was in line after one of his live concerts to get his autograph and I saw him lean over and kiss the woman in line in front of me! After she left I guess I was in shock and he said to me" are you ok? Do you want a kiss too? " I said yes and he leaned over the table and kissed me but..... It wasn't just on my lips...he put his tounge IN MY MOUTH! A day and concert I will NEVER forget 😊
This is what real country music sounds like, no auto tune or lip syncing needed. Just a great song sung by a talented artist who loves his music. Country music today needs more soul music like this

Eddie Rabbitt is absolutely incredible. The first time I saw him in concert I was only 14 years old, I was hooked. I went whenever I could and was fortunate enough to see him many times over the years. Devistated that he is no longer with us to bless us with more of his amazing music. I listen to what he left behind, he is true Country.

Eddie Rabbitt might have been one of the more underrated country artists of the 70's and 80's. And folks forget that "Nashville on the Road" was one of the most popular television programs in all of syndication back in those days too.
I heard of eddie back then but not Nashville on the road today is the first time. I wouldn't say underrated he had quite a few number 1 hits, just maybe a bit more air play would of been good, but like Gary Stewart and Tommy Overstreet he was good at what he did, just not quite played on the radio as much as I would of thought considering how good they all were
eddy rabbit never be for got for history of elvis presley wrote for him and other singer wrote music for music never ever dies carry on for life even u die still there carry on dose matter what year look at it still be there with fans play his music
Recently I was reading names of the members of the Country Music Hall of Fame. SHOCKED that Eddie was never inducted! He certainly deserves to be among those honored
I met him ,he stood up damn he was a tall man . very nice ,he dead the say I brought my baby home from hospital. I cried like a baby he was my first crush.
saw him at Houston rodeo and gave a great performance! he was at the top of his game with such soulful music that everyone could relate to and not to mention his voice! He was it! still love heari g his music and always brings back feelings of life back then
I saw Eddie and Crystal Gayle when they came out with "Just you and I". Such a great concert. Eddie was a tremendous Songwriter and a great singer as well. Love his music. I remember during that concert that he strummed his Guitar so hard that he broke some strings.
I Heard,In A ("Special, Interview,".) With ("Eddie,Rabbity,".) Said He,Always,Wanted,To Sing,The Songs,He Specially,Wrote. Enjoyed,His Music,From Back Then,Until,Now. Eddie was one who should have been recognized more but I understand he didn't want to that much. He had lost a son or daughter at one time several years ago and he never really recovered from the terrible tragedy . he continued in the music business for some time before cancer got him and took him away from us so soon. The music business is a hard one to get into but he also got a big break from another famous singer who got him a cut and he continued from there. I love this song as a kid and love it still fifty years later. Its beautiful and he had more ideas he had in the works but never finished them. May you sing for us with the angels Eddie. You are very much missed and very well loved by your fans. I miss you Eddie and I know others do miss u just as much. Rest in peace Eddie. Miss you and your music.
Extraordinaria composición del gran Eddie Rabbitt, realmente deja sin palabras como el puede lograr transmitir ese sentimiento a través de esta hermosa canción, el sentimiento de la frustración de un amor perdido, realmente increíble Eddie Rabbitt...
