Are you the same Gibson Ross that had Ross Records, where I sent my first demo tape about 36 years ago now with 2 songs I composed myself when I was only aged 15? Both in the Irish/Scottish country genre, The songs were: 1) Linda Please Tell Me. And the 2nd one was Home In The North. I'm now in my fifties, but my memory is still as sharp as it was back then. I heard of the Ross Records label through Manson Grant & the Dynamos from Caithness. I am a one handed musician because of cerebral palsy but a year ago I graduated with a BA Honours degree in Audio Production from the School of Audio Engineering here where I now live in Glasgow, I'm originally from Wick though. Hope you are well, and a' 'e best 'til ye! I recorded the demo at Craighall Studios in Edinburgh with the producer/owner Bryce Laing! Take care Gibby. P.S When I remember, I sent it you, as I now realise, totally unmixed and unproduced. The tracks were just laid down, and I thought, at that age, that was all I needed to do, no wonder you rejected it, hahaha! :)
