My husband used to sing this song to me. The first time he sang it to me, I fell in love. Sadly he broke my bones my accomplishments and my spirit. When I listen to the song now it reminds me of who I was and the dreams I has for my family. All long gone now.

😊 Beautiful cover as usual when it's Ed/ PJ covering a song. I will say this, however..... Eddie supported Bernie, so yes, he is what I'd call a democratic socialist. Bruce Springsteen is DEFINITELY a democrat. Those are GOOD THINGS. However, I must admit, trump would've whooped Bernie's ass cuz ppl think socialism is 'evil', and they can't imagine a ctry with more socialism and less capitalism as being anything less than COMMUNISM, (which is BS, and they hurt themselves & disregard the quality of the lives of others with that mentality). Individualism is KILLING us. Nationalism growing across the globe is DANGEROUS. ALSO, most moderate Dems woulda rejected Bernie. And many who support him are extremists who call anyone to the right of them, a full blown rt winger, or even a fascist. It's the same thing with the far right which is now mainstream right. Anyone not a trump humper, is a COMMIE. LOL, extremism is a disease. Happy with my left of center beliefs. Also recognize that part of the message here, is labels are deceptive.
