The response I usually get is something like this. "Physics was fun, but I never understood it." That usually means those people had lousy Physics Teachers.

The West - particularly Calgary, Alberta Canada needs more teachers like teacher Eddie Woo - you are so generous in teaching math and students won't be afraid to ask.
We need more math teachers like him in USA. Most of the middle and high school math teachers in US are horrible. They do not really understand the subject well enough themselves to explain clearly. That's why the average math skills of US high school students are so bad compared to other first-world countries.
why we do not like math? because, AU does not have teachers like wood, or for say, no good math teachers as simple as that, aslo when you have less competitive education system.
Hands down Eddie is an outstanding maths teacher. Such a shame then that he felt compelled to comment politically. By doing so, Mr Woo has potentially sidelined a chunk of the population he claims to be reaching out to with his vapid anti trump/brexit rant. For Eddie Woo, there's a direct link between the trouble many adults have with maths and the election of Donald Trump, Brexit and climate change denial. @Sen484 this is the problem with leftists because we'd like to give explanations and the full picture to the individual, and then have the individual make informed decisions themselves. However it usually backfires because the said individual is not mentally capable enough to follow through the reasoning. b.t.w a disproportionate amount of intellectuals and educators are left leaning.
