They are soldiers of honor. They are not French, they're just men with an urge to fight for this country, bloody good blokes. To fight and give your life for a country that isn't your own is very honorable. Much respect to the legion, my neighbour is a legionaire, he's a great chap.
jeanluc305 rarely anyone is for the money since you earn jack shit which u spend on one weekend out when u finish basic you come to legion with nothing u leave with nothing its mostly the adventure and school that you will have for rest of your life also maybe your best achievements in life so far and probably something you will be remembered for atleast for few years after u die for only 5 years of your life you get the right of sayin that yes you went tru hell and became a legionar etrangere something that not alot of people accomplishes
@@grimoknobel les allemands ....the germans are not the legion ... sorry my anglish is french c'est une adaptation d'un chant, pas de critique a faire, si tu comprends pas tu parle pas !
you're paired with a binome who speaks a varying level of french according to your own fluency, the worse yours is, the better his is. All training is done in French and you will be restricted from speaking other languages during formations and courses, so picking it up quickly is to your best interest
