Edessa (or Ancient Edessa) was the first capital of ancient Macedonia and was founded by the Argead clan, to which Alexander the Great belonged.
However, this city in Greece is much better known for a more recent phenomenon, a series of impressive waterfalls that fall on the edge of the city.
