Davids is a Surinamese-born Dutch former professional footballer.

John Devadhas he barely even played in barcelona, he was sent to barca from juventus as a loan but barcelona never activated the release clause and he returned to Juventus. He didn’t have a good relationship with Juventus’s manager Lippi. Later, he was sold to spurs. Tottenham hotspur was a huge decline into david’s career.

Un crack el morocho. Zurdo, fuerte, rápido, hábil, técnico. Volante completo. Defensivamente, valiosisimo. Corría, marcaba, metía, quitaba. Intenso y tenaz como pocos. A veces, se pasaba de rosca y hacía muchas faltas. Solo le faltaba cabezear. En ofensiva, aportaba muchísimo. Jugaba, tocaba, gambeteaba, habilitaba y tenía una pegada bárbara. Gran control y dribbling. Buena pierna inhábil. Y llegaba mucho, tenía gol. No era muy pensante, ni el más prolijo. Un sudamericano de potrero, educado en el fútbol holandés. @@rubo111 this generation only in france 98 Semi final and euro 2000 semi finals. The netherlands only won one euro in 88 with marco van basten, rijkaard and gullit. Duch have alwaijs great players and why are the best footbal country with out WK cup😂. We played 3 finals and allot of semi and quater finals😂. The dutch don care of winning or losing but playing beautiful footbal is more importend😂.

As a comment said below, Edgar Davids is REALLY underrated. My dad would call him "El Comandante," the commander in Spanish, and admired the way he took over midfield. Truly one of the greatest defensive midfielders ever.

I started playing football from the age of 13 and started wearing glasses from 14. I used to play football with glasses, everyone were making fun of me. Then there was only one reply from me i am the Edgar Davids of this team. He is still my icon . A player with amazing skills there is no replacement for him.

as a Juventus supporter, what can i say? Davids with Zidane and Nedved was the third best miedfielder of Juventus over 7 years and one of the best all over the world.
