Edge of Mystery - Barberton, Ohio 

Nice town. I noticed there’s no river there. Here in Wisconsin, we have plenty of rivers (and lakes). Is that lagoon man made, or natural? Silly question, I know. I’m just curious. On a different subject, what’s it like living there? What did you like to do when you were there?

@@miguelidcomm it's called lake Anna. I believe it was named after the founding mayors wife or daughter. It is an underground spring fed lake. Nearly perfectly round. Somebody has to grow up somewhere and that's just where I grew up. I lived the first 19 years of my life there. I like lake Anna, hearing the trains multiple times today every day, I like the schools I went to and my friends. The public parks were kind of nice to play in. And hills were everywhere. I always loved biking down the hills because some were pretty steep and short. But when I was a teenager there were about 33,000 people living in barberton. Today that has dwindled to about 26,000. It is a dying and dirty industrial town. And the roads are horrible. Run down houses here and there and property values are very low. Like I said, I love visiting my hometown but I would never want to live there again.

@@ericdaily8835 I see. Interesting place. Interesting lake, by the way. Its symmetry is so great, I thought it was actually fake. It’s sad to see beautiful places dying down and not being able to do anything about it. I live in Beloit, Wisconsin. This place also has problems. Especially with crime and unemployment. It’s not a “horrible/unlivable” place, but compared to other parts of the state, it could do better. I’m hoping to move up north (here in WI, when we say “up north” we mean north of the state). This state has a lot to offer. It gets cold in the winter, but it’s a good place to live, overall. All the same. Glad you are doing better in a different place and still get to see your hometown. 👍
