WOW! Goosebumps performance of Arnel Pineda-- I saw him on LIVE Concert one time and that's it--I watched him many times after !! Watching Journey on LIVE Concerts is such a great feeling. Arnel gives a blast performance each time, he rocks when calls for, and AP's mesmerizing ballads are full of heart and emotion! Such an incredible talent !! Amazing! Congrats to AP on his 15th year as Journey's frontman ( 2007-2022 and counting ! ) Can't wait to see AP again on LIVE Concert soon !
Journey has always had a hard edge. Take a listen to some of their obscure stuff from Departure and Evolution - Lady Luck, Home Made Love, Line of Fire, La Do Da etc.
@@elianad2083 100% ! these people don't realize .. Arnel had zero to do with these songs , was not the voice on the albums , that sold millions in the first place . You can't have a "new" Journey when 99% of what Arnel is doing is relying on what Perry-Schon -Cain created .. together . He's a cover singer . People just don't get that .

@@cookiemurph8532 you’re a tool and the fanatic Arnel/Journey fan, I’m not even into Journey. I grew up in the 90s and my favorite singer is Paul Banks of the Interpol. I like original music, not nostalgia bands like Journey or Foreigner with impersonators of the original lead singers.

Absolutely Steve Perry's fan. Seen them with Steve in 1986. I seen journey in August 2012 with Arnel and blown away. Given the chance he came threw. Was great to to see and hear journey in concert. It took nerve to try and sing them songs. Hats off to the whole band.
Whether with Steve Perry or Arnel Pineda as lead vocalist, it really matters not, for with Neil Schon and crew, when Journey plays, they play with such a sense of urgency, it is as if they were OPENING FOR THE APOCALYPSE...
Im still watching these gig and its amaze me how powerful Arnels voice and for thosewho said he is shouting this is an angry song and youhave to be enrage when you sing it that is hard rock got it thats the way it has to be sung....
Journey was at its musical best with Castronovo. Him and Neal were an unstoppable force. Steve Smith is the “heyday lineup” drummer, but Deen has so much more power which aids the music way more IMO. Love this lineup.
People who saying Arnel’s voice is awful is something like they are insulting Neil Schon and Jonathan Cain for choosing him to become as their lead singer. Think guys before you throwing trash to someone that nobody’s affected but that someone alone you hate😏

Very cool version of this track, but not digging the high pitched added keyboards at the beginning! Definitely check out "Edge Of The Blade" by Journey performing it in Chile with Arnel when he 1st joined band! Better performance all around by the band!

Great song - great vocal performance, unfortunately "over performed" - strip the damn song back to its orginal raw best and lose the over dramatic keyboards and please Mr Schon try to play the original solo!!!
