poor umar...he almost gets ko'd, but instinct kicks in, gets the sinle leg, punishes the guy. the rest of the fight he feints his way into excellent timed take downs and bludgeoned the guy the rest of the fight; gets the win and he has 10 comments most of which are talking about islam's fight.
that was similar to Islam's lost.The difference is that in Islam's case the ref stopped the fight too soon,Islam was about to go for the leg like Umar did but the ref stopped the fight.
I'm a big islam fan, but let's not kid ourselves, this is way different than how it happened with islam. Islam was very bad in the stand-up, he was throwing recklessly and looked like an amateur, very readable (in that specific fight).. Umar simply got caught by a great fighter here, umar didn't give it away like islam, Umar wasn't being sloppy like islam on that fight. Besides, islam looked like he didn't know where he was, he was completely on his back.. I'm glad the ref saved him from unnecessary damage. it's okay to learn from a loss then become the greatest. That's what islam is clearly doing in his division now.
Bro I’m a huge fan of Islam but I’m way more convinced of the stoppage of his fight. Like dude Islam was put flat on his back and his eyes rolled to the back of his head. Umar got hit but was not put unconscious and he immediately went for the legs.
@@tariqrobertson54Islam did go down but he would have recovered. Ref stopped it way too fast. You can see as Islam is touching the ground he is preparing to recover but ref jumped in already

That ref could have had the mindset of not letting him take more damage to “possibly recover” after seeing him clearly unconscious. I’ll take the ref stopping the guy who was clearly out vs the guy who DIDNT GO OUT and IMMEDIATELY recovered.
@@BlackSwanGamingTGK dude I literally just watched it again. Islam wasn’t even “touching” the ground not in the sense that you are trying to say. He was touching the ground with his back and getting rocked. He got hit in the face as a follow through for the finish and that was enough for the ref. He saw no reason for him to take extra damage.

Bro coach got hands himself. I sat down and watched some of his stuff. Dude was killer. Doesn't surprise me the champions he has coached. His name doesn't get mentioned enough he's a hell of a man and his coaching speaks for itself
