Some alpine snowboarding scenes. Riding different Oxess RS boards and various Allflex plates. Thank you so much for watching! #edgepassion #wearecarving Music: Always the Same by SefChol (from RU-vid Audio Library)
Try not to have a lot of pressure on your elbow when carving (it is kind of a cheat 😇). A sturdy jacket with good velcros at the wrists is preferable (like the Burton AK Cyclic jacket for example).
nice video. one question: ihave noticed that you have a plate inn between the bindings and the board- does oxess deliver the board htis way or did you put it there to have an better angle? or did your boots pass the edge in your preferred stance without this plate?
Thanks for the nice feedback. The plate is an Allflex plate. You have to buy it separately. It helps with pressure distribution, lets the board bend more freely underneath, adds weight and you get a better angle for tilting the board. All World Cup riders have such plates. Hope you have a good season! 🤟🏼
@@WinterPlatinum Thanks for the answer. In my particular case it does not make sense since i switched from hard bindings to soft bindings-shame on me, but I am getting older ;-) also I find that the stiffest soft bindings and boots get really close to the hard bindings although its never gonna be the same. I ride virus avalanche which allows yo to use both types of bindings- good for the lazy carvers like me ;-) keep on carving
@@chrisaguila710 I would not use a plate for softboots! And you are right - softboot carving is also a lot of fun! 🤟🏼 Check my video “Edge Game” here for the softboot variant 😇💪🏼!
