@@Nicolewhite743 I have no clue what you’re referencing. I love the Undertaker. I don’t remember saying anything about him last week at all. That being said while I do love the Undertaker; Sting is unquestionably my favorite wrestler. Has been since I was a child and he first revealed the crow character and was feuding with Hogan and NWO. Undertaker is awesome. Sting is king!
I liked Darby admitting to remorse and reluctance over what happened with Nick Owen, makes him very sympathetic. He plays an understated babyface well.
He and Sting go way back to WCW in 1995-96. Adam Copeland went under the name Damon Striker before coming to the WWF in summer of 1998. Sting at the time was still a blonde colorful surfer type character before he turned black and white Crow Sting. Triple H was in WCW with Sting in 1994 before coming to the WWF in spring 1995 along with Steve Austin when was Stunning Steve Austin.
Edge & Christian need to do something quick cuz their rivalry is doing what AEW normally does with feuds… losing momentum lacking consistency & becoming a waste
@eugeneuys3709 but did they even meet? For example imagine if Scooty 2 Hottie told Booker T we go way back. Also I checked out the thing about Edge in WCW and he was barely even there and only had like 1 match.
@anthonyanderson9303 yeah but not everyone is just gonna know that. You can't just have Adam one week talk about never sharing the ring with Sting, and then another week have Sting say we go way back. Considering they've never been in the same company at the same time that's a weird thing to say the way Sting did, especially without any context.
That's like a brother to him and he can't leave him yet. Sure he may have to beat some more sens to Christian and tell him that we're about to ride off into the sunset and you're coming with me
Its funny how Darby is saying its kill or be killed to Adam as if EDGE didn't live through the Monday night wars and the attitude era at the same damn time... Shut up boy.
Apparently that last person thinks wrestling is real😂, they get real injuries and most are great athletes brother but the majority of the time they already planned the outcome.
He explained in the promo last night what Sting meant by that. They've been friends behind the scenes for years, both have dealt with similar injuries.
My memory is a little foggy, but I believe I remember there being a storyline where Luger was being heelish and everyone saw it except Sting for a short while.
Luger had turned on Sting twice in the past in 1991 and 1999. Even in 1995-96 when he first came back to WCW he was acting kinda Shady. He would be a face when he was with Sting but heelish around the rest of the roster and the fans. This was shortly before the nWo arrived.
@@ryanr9578 Wow!! You have a great memory! That is some interesting history between Sting and Luger. I remember them having a conflict or two between each other, and I remember them shaking hands circa ‘99 and saying they had been friends for 15 years, and then there was that strange mysterious gimmick that Luger had in which I think he was a heel and Miss Elizabeth walked down to the ring with him(the rebirth gimmick) but other than that, I don’t remember too much about their relationship, other than it had ups and downs.
