Absolutely. I don’t think this show would’ve been anywhere near as successful if it got the happy ending everyone wanted, and that’s why I love it. It stays true to what would really happen, rather than playing itself out as some fantasy story for the viewers.

@@-yoann-considering the fact that everyone was like “ugh really? A show for this shit fest?” Leading up to its release is argue it wouldn’t have been nearly as successful. You have to remember that the game had released in a buggy unstable mess and while it got fixed that stigma did not go away until after the show dropped. This show caused the game to become the number one game on steam, and that’s because they did it well

It's really not it's still got the same bugs crashing every 15-20 minutes and it's still a complete grind to make any build that's worth a damn more than half the implants are worthless pretty much only need the one that auto heals you the double jump legs and the mechanical arms (not the wip/mantis blades) and the moment you get a smart sniper congrats you just won the game because nothing says fun like free head shots that one shot any enemy outside of the really over powered ones and those ones you can tell to off themselves

By the way David act even if he did not faced Adam Smasher he is fated to die. They might be able to escape using Sandevistan with the Old man and Rebecca but Kiwi is a fully pledge traitor that time so it might be impossible. Also if David did not used the Cyberskeleton then Lucy might not be saved because they already hired Adam Smasher so they will both die. The only thing that will save them both is if Lucy said to David what she was really doing after she quitted being edgerunner. David and his whole crew including Kiwi will do something about it and I'm sure it will not lead to fighting Adam Smasher since Cyberskeleton will not be involved. Those are my What If's.

Unfortunately the only character that seems to have plot armor is Adam Smasher (and that one corpo goon Adam stood in front of) and he used the plot armor to be an ABSOLUTE MENACE!!!!

He was the man who went through with his promises and fullfilled them. He became a strong man and took maine's chrome hands and led the group. He went to the top of the arakasa, as he promised to his mom. And he took Lucy to the moon. He was someone you were able to trust and know he would do it because his word was golden. Even if he had to sacrifice everything he fulfilled his promise.

The saddest death was definitely David second spot would be Maine 3rd Spot Dorio then Kiwi, I like Rebecca too but she doesnt even get close to the saddest death
