Cid Kagenou creates an elaborate plot to fight the Cult of Diabolos and builds his organization, the Shadow Garden. Anime Name: The Eminence in Shadow Anime Name: The Eminence in Shadow
This entire series is like a d&d campaign being run by a dm who's rule of cool is playing anime themes over their headphones during boss battles and describing in great detail how cool each fight mechanic is.
man, I cracked up so many times when I read this. The random scenes of him standing on a rooftop and thinking "A cool line to say would be..." and then says that. It's such a weird concept yet pretty well written
Mostly because in an effort to sound legitimate he based his lore around actual stuff that happened in that world, never actually explained which is weird though
Although it isn’t mentioned in this vid, Claire was abducted by the cult because she was a possessed like Alpha until Cid cured her, and a theory that actually makes sense is that Cid doing that basically amped up her already brilliant power to the point where she could potentially beat up a higher up member from the cult
this one was actually good for me, enjoyed it. it does not take itself too seriously. its about an already OP guy who gets reborn and gets to redo life the way he wanted - to be a background character who is secretly OP. and boy does he accomplish that.
@@kleembus4513 I've got high expectations but I don't wanna go in too overhyped or with too high expectations rn so I'm kinda not thinking too much and just waiting
honestly, with how the story is shaping up around his words, at some point you get suspicious and you gotta wonder: does he have secret powers to make fiction a reality? or is someone making this happen as he speaks? there's no way this can be coincidence
Tehnicly it can, he could had easily overheard in his childhood mention the cult and then it got stuck to him the same way us humans do that with some words, when you learn a new word you start hearing it wayy more and apply it to some other things
What if he is like Haruhi in the way that whatever crazy fantasies he keeps creating come true. Like the cult existing and accidentally pinpointing the exact location of the hideout that Claire was taken to.
My guy must be cursed or something cause no way is he that stupid to not realize everything is real when he himself is clearly as powerful as he is... unless he also thinks thats a joke as well as the people he killed.
Man is a psycopath straight out of the books. He never acknowledges the existence of other persons as actual "people" and he also does everything for his own benefit, not even caring about hurting the people around him (take him throwing Alpha out of a train in movement just to "look cool" as an example). He is a psychopath and I hate him, but I love the world and shadow garden so I will continue watching.
Always wanted to be a secret villain. Playing from the shadows, watching people rip one another apart as I play both sides. Never being in the like light while simultaneously being more biggest bad guy out of them all
*ahem* anyways. I like the idea of being a "shadow" mentor, aiding people in charge to be wise, moral and good while also being very strong, stopping and impeding guys like you.
I read a comment somewhere describing this anime to be a parody of other cringe and edgy Isekai shows and I can see that, but honestly at the same time of making fun of the other shows, they had perfected this troupe, not exaggerating, this is by far the best show I’ve seen that has the “Isekai op mc with a hidden identity” troupe. I’ve seen other shows that are good too, but not with this exact troupe.e
7:43 when you intend to do something that should go unintended but you had one wrong calculation and the result went wrong just like other mathematical equations.
Shadow is powerful cuz he see's everything as fiction he thinks this ain't real like an Anime to every one in the Anime this is real life but shadow doesn't think that so he basically has toon force the power of a cartoon character with stats to the max
