Nice little demo, guys get yourself a ring light, that’s what we Fashion photographers in Los Angeles use if you really want to get direct light look!

I use the Holga 60mm f8. It's plastic and gives you that disposable camera look. Fun stuff.

Back in the day, a lot of those fashion photos were done shooting through large ringlights.

This is one use case where an ordinary on-camera speedlight can absolutely do the job. You’re unlikely to ever be far enough from the subject to need more power from the camera position.

Last time I measured 😂😂 Brilliant David haha. These always remind me of those old Rolling Stone magazine photos from the tour busses. I liked those ones, but haven't been a fan of the style with it coming back, personally. Great explanation David.

Ie. Ignore everything. Put camera on auto. Pretend your a professional
