@@Rainnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn I actually am. I'm listening to a bunch of Inabakumori and KAFU as of late on top of your usual DECO*27, 40meterP, DIVELA, Neru, PinocchioP, etc, but Utsu-P will forever be my jam. Almost all of his tracks have been charted on Clone Hero too so it's an absolute blast being able to play them too.
It's totally a phase. There's the phase of my life before I found edgy Vocaloid music in middle school, and then the rest of my life. Lynne still kicks around on my playlists nearly a decade later!
I don't know how to feel about most of my favourite vocaloid songs being here. And no, it's not a phase because it has never began. Most of them connect with my emotional growth, but I never was an edgy teen.
Okay, this just confirms that I will never escape from Vocaloid, none of us, even when get old... *ALSO YOU PUT MELTDOWN FIRST, THIS CATCH ME FROM THE FIRST SECOND*
I had a mental breakdown the other day for reasons I won't get into and I really needed a good cry. So I decided to listen to this playlist and as soon as Meltdown came on, I immediately burst into tears. Listening to Meltdown honestly helped me cope with my emotions and it's not because I can relate to the lyrics (I'm not thinking of yeeting myself into a nuclear reactor) but because hearing someone else who was in just as much mental and emotional pain as I was, helped me process my own Meltdown. Thank you for making this playlist! I plan on listening to it again if the need arises :)
I’m not even a vocaloid fan but I’ve listened to enough Neru to come to the conclusion that, there being so many Neru song’s on here to the conclusion where that’s the first thing i noticed, makes so much sense in a sort of humorous way lol.
All those studies finding that the music you listen to in your teens defines your musical tastes for the rest of your life. My 13 year old dumbass 12+ years ago really thinking "Yeah, this'll just be a phase."
I was 15 when I got into Vocaloid. Now I'm 26 and this is the only music I listen to at work because I don't understand the lyrics and the music SLAPS. God I love them (especially Rin)
god DAMN yeah this is pretty on point for the edgy "no one will understand what i am going through wow this character in the mv is literally me" phase like damn this threw me back and its really just cool to be able to hear the same music without the weird lack of self-awareness that used to make us go "lol this is so me, i should send these lowkey to people i know so they can see how broken i am", so now we can see how much of the music we actually *liked*
From the first time I heard abstract nonsense I was like 9 and went "wow I dont relate to this but it's kinda sad" as a teen that went through unstable home years now that view has drastically changed
This fucked up world exists for me is a great addition to this playlist. Why? It’s about someone so out of touch with reality that they believe the world revolves around them. They don’t interact with people irl, only online, and it seems not through a productive means. They’re lonely in an overactive way, feeling numb to all the chaos of the world that they will never expirience in their life. They also have a naive childlike mind as well.
i want to eat this playlist it has literally 2 of the songs that i have been searching for years now but only had a 2 second memory of it this is so good bro omhahwdawd pls never take this down
I used to my math homework to Meltdown, Ghost Rule, Bright It On, Lost One's Weeping, Tokyo Teddy Bear, Snobbism and Venom last year during online learning 😂 (I was exploring more Vocaloid Songs and I was pretty into those XD An honourable mention would also be Tengaku)
comencé a escuchar vocaloid a los 11 ahora tengo 15, y aunque no lo escuche tan recurrentemente como a esa edad, siempre es un placer oír sus canciones , que playlist tan pro.
I know most of these, but some of them didn't strike me as being edgy before (like, "This Wonderful, Fucked Up World Only Exists For Me"). 😂 However, looking at the translations, I see that they could be seen that way. I always just considered them to be dark. (I know at least 15 songs out of this playlist, btw.)
banger playlist dude, did you take these straight out of my personal playlist or sumn?? most of these have been my favorites for the past 3 years or so, if not more :'DD
the title rly HITS. ive been going back to listening to vocaloid so many times since i was 12 that i concluded that it isnt a phase, vocaloid simply slaps
copycat was my first vocaloid song, I think I heard it when I was 9, and I didnt know that song was sung by a vocaloid, my 9 year old self could SWEAR that song was sung by a real person lol
oh my god Lynne!! i remember when it was my sister who was in charge of putting music on my old ipod bc i was too young (around 9/10 probably?), she had put this one and when i had asked about it, she showed me the pv and i fell in love with it- maybe because ive always loved goats
Awesome playlist. most people miss Wildfire, which is unfortunate considering it's one of the best songs sung by Gumi English. Although I gotta say, you missed the king of edgy Vocaloid music, iNSaNiTY.
"You are a useless child" was my fav song and i thought it was happy the first few seconds of listening then seeing the name and finding it in a edgy playlist hurts me
is anyone else here because their favorite vocaloid playlist was taken down. It had a yellow background with Miku freaking out on the front and I don't know what to do without it.
@@AvitheTiger YES FINALLY SOMEONE KNOWS Ugh that was like my favorite playlist and they had really good songs all in one and I can't be bothered to look up every single one on my own cuz im lazy Q.Q
I've always been pretty angsty even as a kid. But for some reason it's really going kaioken x20 recently so some of these nostalgic songs hit the spot Edit:Omg I just heard Copycat- The memories from that one alone god that was in my early years as a daily hot topic shopper
