Hi Bjorn, thanks for checking this one out! This area has absolutely stunning architecture! We filmed just after 6 am. For sure it was getting much busier towards the end of the video. A recording glitch with our GoPro meant we lost about one and a half km of the run, so we were close to an hour from start to finish. We walked the entire area the night before but it would be impossible to film a run there in the day because the sidewalks are packed with tourists. How's your running going, seems like you are checking a few of these so your running must be injury free?
@@GoRunMitch I know the feeling! I once did a 14 km run in central London an early Sunday morning, it's mind boggling how the big cities pulses from almost abandoned to completely crowded and back again over 24 hours! My current running was on the right track, but I just had a minor set back with increasing pain so I need a couple of days of rest. Shin splints are a difficult injury to get rid of, apparently it can take up to a year and in some cases even more to get fully healed from it. I'll just take it easy and stay on the bike for a while now, or make sure to keep my runs shorter and slower!
Hi Ludgina! Thanks so much, I appreciate the view as always! Just 3 days there, we also stopped in Ireland and England, visiting my youngest son Travis and his partner. who live in London. Scotland was amazing, I would have loved to visit the highlands area. We hiked up an ancient volcano in Edinburgh (named after King...) Arthur's Seat this same day, plus the run along the canal. I walked/hiked/ran 29 kms this day. This run is mostly the Royal Mile, spectacular if you ever get a chance to visit Scotland it's a must see place!
