They've been a breath of fresh air, with an almost "retrospective" sound that's been transported from the 80s into the 21st Century. They exist because so much modern music has been dominated by shite R&B or crap soloists from Cowell's bowels... Thank fuck for Editors? I should damn well say so......

i don’t agree with the fact of underrated. I know and listen to editors for 20 years have always been a band appreciated and present on the biggest stages of the world festivals. They simply chose not to be a pop-rock band but an alternative rock band.
I felt Violence was a quirky, excellent album for dark times ahead. The dark times are now here. This song is a partial return to the old Editors I went nuts for in 2004. See you in New York in 2023! Editors are quality. Not a poor album in their discography. Tom Smith is a top frontman with a great range. And with Blanck Mass in the band as a permanent member, this band can dip in more musical genres. But you all know this. You're here.
Violence is a great album that shows how original and quirky this band can be. Eat Raw Meat = Blood Drool is also a great song that I share with everyone because of how bizarrely catchy it is.
@@pcelis19 I suspect yes, because their last tour here in the States was in the spring of 2019, about 13 months after Violence was released. I already put in a word to Pier 17 NYC to book them.

I hated Heart Attack, which was strange since I just really like the Editors' sound and style. That was the first song from Editors that scratched my ears whenever I gave it a shot. That's why after that, I didn't care much for the new album. I even found out about the next single weeks later. But wow, this is good, this is right at home! You can feel that same energy, tempo from the days of The Back Room and An End Has a Start.
ive known about and liked editors since probably 2007 when i was a kid via a handful of songs... but it barely occured to me that i should actually listen to them in 2017. now theyre one of my all time favorite bands. if you somehow are stumbling on this song as your first, please do yourself a favor and check em out and hopefully buy their music. I have all of their albums and was So Fortunate to have seen them live not too long ago (might have been 2018? i forget). Its been an absolute blast.
I am in Australia and have just discovered this newish release. Editors are not given airplay here. What a great song!!! Have loved Editors since discovering them on RU-vid and this new album is going to be good judging by the first few tracks released so far.

Massively underrated but in a way that creates their cult status.I would love them to do a live album in the future but what a band.Keep doing what you’re doing and don’t ever stop.one of music yet best kept secrets from the masses even 20 yrs on.Can’t praise them enough,excellent ⭐️👌

A evolução da banda desde o Back Room é maravilhosa, boa por demais! Cara, já tentei ouvir White Lies e Interpol, mas não foi de primeira. Editors consegue ser sombrio sem deixar de original e legal.
