It is a script we did on our own, so it is not yet public. We are testing right now what feature would be nice to add to EDIUS and publish the tools for it.

No! Even EDIUS X Pro comes already with the Chorus Hub, so no Chorus Hub Server is needed to work with AI and the lokal database. If you want to connect more EDIUS/Mync system, then you need the Chorus Huib Server.

Thank you@@EDIUSNET sorry I don't fully understand. I will not need Chorus Hub to connect to more EDIUS systems but will I still need Chorus Hub to run Python scripts, (example in the video)? Also, can you confirm I don't need the Workgroup API SDK, EDIUS Pro also has the integrated open API?

@@DonalJennings Sorry, that was not 100% easy to understand: There is the Chorus Hub, which is part of EDIUS 11. Every EDIUS 11 system brings a Chorus Hub. By using this Chorus hub, Mync and EDIUS can share data and AI services and QC (Quality Check) and other tools can connect. If you want to work withh EDIUS 11 in a team of 2 or more, you need the EDIUS Hub SERVER, which is installed on a Server System to connects two or more EDIUS 11 Clients.

Thank you @@EDIUSNET this is fantastic news. I'm currently using lots of AutoHotkey scripts to speed up my workflow. It would be much easier to use Python scripts and connect to EDIUS/Mync built-in open API (also called Chorus Hub). This will definitely make EDIUS Pro the fastest editor. :)

You mean settings? EDIUS 11 uses your existing settings and presets from EDIUS X. But you can generate new presets as well.

You can install use EDIUS 11 or X on the system. After testing you can either buy EDIUS 11 or deinstall EDIUS 11 and install EDIUS X again. There are many new features in EDIUS 11, the the feature video. We will explain one by one in videos in detail, like in this video the ai based voice cleaner.

You are right. A 11.xx update will fix that problem soon.

This function will soon be added in one of the next free EDIUS 11.xx Updates.

Using generative AI in EDIUS is definitly a target we want to integrate in EDIUS 11. The question is, how to do it. Do just want to convert an existing video to an animated video?
