Deciding which EDM machines and types of cutters, wires and electrodes to use may seem overwhelming at first, especially when you must also consider cost, quality and what you're trying to accomplish.
In the latest "Learn to Burn" episode, EDM expert Steve Michon breaks down and covers all kinds of EDM machinery, cutters, electrodes and wires that'll help you know what to look for and what will work for you.
A great piece of advice Steve shares is that you should always look for quality machines first. But, if your budget doesn’t allow for it initially, then purchase what you can afford to make good work and then buy higher quality machines as your business progresses.
What do you use for cutting electrodes and what do you find works? Let us know in the comments below!

Mitsubishi edm's are awesome. The speed! I have been doing this for 30 years, and I've run all the major brands. And the service is unmatched!

Thanks for the videos! EDM is super cool with very little professional information on YT. I was wondering what the learning curve is for EDM? i.e. I never used a Hass before and made my first part that I sold the same day they dropped it off? If I were to get a plung/sinker/wire edm how fast would it take to get good parts off if I never used an EDM before? Thanks!

It all depends on the machine you're using and the basic knowledge of EDM
