Hello, I ma quiet interest in the application of eDNA in identifying plant species, specifically I want to create a country database of invasive species (both terrestrial and aquatic).

I do a lot of this and have found the next step is moving away from fine filters that can only process several litres. We are having great success leaving sponge filters overnight and getting over 300 ng/uL per sample in pristine alpine rivers rather than say 30 ng/uL. Thoughts?
