I respect ✊🏻 mendy and he’s a very good goalkeeper maybe the beat in the world for sure, but in this tournament no one was better than GABASKI he carried his team to the final plus he saved a penalty during the game! Egypt faced Ivory coast 🇨🇮 Morocco 🇲🇦 and cameroon 🇨🇲 who did mendy face! Not dis-respecting any opponent but be honest by far these national teams were contenders.

Surely the ball at the post if that was Gabasky he would have taken a goal. His reflex is atonishing he put his head down. @@jenex5608 Have u seen the SHEER AMOUNT OF SAVES HE MADE?... He single handedly carried Egypt into the finals... Seriously... He was considered a hero here in Egypt... Yes he did concede more goals but against who?.... AGAINST SOME OF THE BIGGEST TEAMS IN AFRICAN FOOTBALL!!!... His performance was absolutely SUPERB... Just watch some of his saves during the tournament, u will be blown away.

Yea man he played 5 matches against let's see here... Malawi, Cape Verde, Equatorial Guinea, Burkina Faso and Egypt While Gabaski on the other hand actually played 4 matches against Ivory Coast, Morocco, Cameroon and Senegal... And he played a full 120 minutes of those matches (except the Ivory Coast one), he even suffered an injury during the match against Morocco yet he still was able to hold himself and guide us through Cameroon into the finals... He even made some miraculous saves in the Senegal match! Heck even Mendy himself claimed that Gabaski was more deserving of the title... Numbers aren't always everything... If u compare the performance of both Goalkeepers you'll find that Gabaski actually had the better performance in this tournament.
