Siberian-born Eduard Kunz was named among tomorrow’s ten great pianists by BBC Music Magazine. He has performed and frequently broadcast with many major orchestras in the United Kingdom, including the Philharmonia Orchestra; the BBC Symphony, BBC Concert, and BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestras; the Halle Orchestra; the Ulster Orchestra; the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra; the Welsh National Opera Orchestra; and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic. He has also played with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester in Berlin, the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orkest van het Oosten in the Netherlands, the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, and the Braunschweig Symphonie-Orchester. Mr. Kunz has given recitals at Wigmore Hall in London, Bridgewater Hall in Manchester, the Louvre in Paris, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, and the Winterthur Hall in Barcelona, and has also recorded for BBC Radio 3, Radio France, and Deutschland Radio Kultur. He is a first-Prize laureate of thirteen international piano competitions.
