This year marks 50 years of partnership with the European Union, a key strategic partner for UNRWA. Critical EU support to the UNRWA education programme over the last 50 years has provided quality and inclusive education to millions of Palestine refugees across the region, helping them to achieve their full potential.
The EU and UNRWA are determined to jointly contribute to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 4, which aims to ensure that by 2030 all students around the world receive an inclusive and equitable quality education.
Together, we strive to promote lifelong learning opportunities to help break the cycle of poverty.
