It depends on your salary and lifestyle, for eg if you earn 60k/year then you get around 3500/month, single room rent will 1200, food and other stuff 500, so you will save 1500 euro approx......

@@crookboy007 Haa wo to hai bhai l, aap ke friend ne HDFC se liya tha I am also considering HDFC to agar aap bata sakte ki abhi Tak aap ke friend ko kitna fluctuations dekhne ko mila to muje idea hojata aur baki sare logo ko education loans NBFC se lene ke soch rahe hai , because from all the reviews on intrest we got now that NBFC's change interest rate more frequently than national banks but kahe se pata nahi chalta ki kitna upar niche hota hai kyu ki Even the NBFC mere case me HDFC bhi aap ko nahi they just " market me depend karta hai "

Himanshu , i have similar thing actually i took a loan and my brother is my sponsor for education loan and amount came in my brother's account , now my question is who will be my sponsor in my irish visa , can brother be my sponsor for irish visa ,as my consultant says brother can't be sponsor , only parents can be sponsor . HDFC credila is not a Bank... it's nbfc.. which means it has high interest rates compared to nationalised banks.. SBI and other banks have 8.65% pa and HDFC credila has 11.50% which is too much if you take 20 lacs loan...too much pressure and I'm told it's a floating value which increases by 2-3% as per their choice...we have no control from overseas and our parents or sponsors have to deal with these guys...which i think none of us want to happen..better go for govt. banks...time lagta hai but reliable hai as they don't harass their customers

And btw every banks loan are 11.50% because rbi increases its repo and it will fluctuate in future as per rbi repo varies. Only Prodigy provides non-collateral loan at 8.5% not even Nationalised banks(maybe for a top tier student but not for all)
