I'm not a famous Hollywood actor, but I went to school long enough to learn that the more you learn, the more you realize how little you know.

These are exception cases for a specific industry and shouldn't be construed to mean that an education doesn't determine or contribute to success. In other sectors, normal folks won't make it without an education.

As far as I'm aware, as one who completed my school education aged 15.75 y/o, I certainly didn't drop out, I just didn't continue on to higher education. As far as I know, schooling in the UK is mandatory or at least it was when I went through school from 1959-1971.

To put this into context, in the military, a talented enlisted Navy or Marine can be selected for an officers commission without a college degree. It’s called the Limited Duty Officer program, or the enlisted to Warrant Officer Program. I was a Lieutenant Colonel when I earned my Bachelor’s degree. It’s not common at all, but neither is the talent of some of these actors without a HS diploma or college degree.
