Abridged, copyright-strike baiting, version of Series 3 Episode 1 of 'The Bridge', covering some of the key areas of the theoretical framework for Media Studies.
So here I am, slowly sinking into a painful vegetable state of slow sad revision, then I come across your video, which is both brilliantly informative, and bloody hilarious. you, my friend, are an absolute beast, I might actually pass my mock now
Do you have any predictions/ideas on what questions will come up for the bridge? Would I be able to use all of this knowledge from your video to answer questions that will come up on the component?
Impossible to make any predictions really, and all elements of the theoretical framework are in the frame. Genre and narrative would be interesting, but then again so would gender or how the show reflects the public service ethos, or how and why it appeals to a fairly niche audience...and so on and so on! Hopefully the stuff I’ve said will prove relevant and has complemented what you’ve been taught. Good luck!
I would never rule anything out as a potential question, but I would be very surprised by a question explicitly requiring you to focus on family. More likely to be the safer territory of gender or age, but important to be open to all possibilities. Good luck!
hi, i don't know if you will see this in time but I was confused about the character of Henrik. I was told that they are in an open relationship, but you stated that it may be a hallucination? btw this video was incredible, thank you!
Hi, and thanks. For this episode I would say that the key is how they creates enigmas around Henrik's character, surprising the audience with the reveal that he is a police officer and the most unlikely of foils for Saga. Good luck tomorrow!
