Not necessarily… but just for the laughs: As Omar said himself, Edvin was a little boy when they met (there is a 5 year gap between them but 17-22 is a huge difference in life stages). So, I guess their friendship simply developed as platonic. And I honestly love it lol

From the silly pins, to the time they talk about body hair and Edvin praises Omar saying that he looks handsome when he has a mustache, and they look at each other talking about each other's fetishes where even the presenters were surprised by them knowing about each other's things, and the time that Omar pours coke on his sweater and Edvin will promptly clean it. I could argue this is even more important as a man, but since I am not one I will say seeing men having these types of friendships and relationships (I dont mean romantic) with one another is so important and super refreshing. I think men are told being this close or showing love like this to your male friends can only be done if you are "gay" and it really prevents men from showing and being more loving in my opinion. AND this toxicity does NOT always come from other men. I think woman are to blame as well... we can complain about a man not showing emotion or being loving enough or other toxic or misogynistic qualities but those same women would make fun of a man who shows a more "feminine" side to their personality. Even though they play a gay couple who would be expected to show these emotions to one another, I just love that that closeness and intimacy also bleeds into their friendship as well. Human is human and I hate the gender boundaries/friendship vs relationship boundaries that we have sometimes on showing love to those important to us, no matter "what" or "who" they are to you. Whenever I acted like this as a kid (as a kid? STILL lol) I'm deeply in love. But I don't think I have a distinction between being in love and deep friendship. It's beautiful to see that chemistry and I hope they can handle all the attention and deep emotions.
