Edward...my dear Edward. Only not although Jack Fox played him superbly. And then scheming Clara...perfect match. Poor Esther although she ended up the winner really. Clara and Esther's sparring was so good. Love Lady Denham btw.

Great video! Love the haunting version of Toxic for them! This "love triangle" was so uniquely written. It's probably one of my favorite storylines of the show.

I know right? We may be the only ones who appreciate this story. In fact, I commented on this story the most on twitter behind Sidney & Charlotte. Jack Fox even commented on one of my posts...made me happy. Glad you liked the video.

It was one of my favorite storylines of the show too. In a certain respect, the conclusion of this storyline was very Jane Austen like. Esther got a happy ending and wedding. If there were a season 2 of Sanditon they wouldn't be part of it though.

I love Clara. She's like Jane Fairfax or Fanny Price...with the attitude and scheming nature of Emma Woodhouse or Lady Susan.

Oh yes definitely a mix of several JA characters. She actually had a lot of complexity as you saw what motivated her was actually self preservation. She was a fleshed out character just like Esther was.

@@JenJiJ316 In a certain respect I felt like Clara was the most fleshed out character in the whole show. I almost felt empathy for her. Especially when she's talking the sexual abuse and severe money troubles of her past.

@@janejones7638 yes definitely...the only character that was no fleshed out and selfish was Edward. But got to love Jack Fox though...he was engaging on twitter.

No. But Edward and Esther are step siblings. Clara is Lady Denham’s niece on Lady D’s side but Edward is her nephew by marriage. They aren’t siblings.
