This is an arrangement for classical guitar of the exposition of the 1st movement of the Cello Concerto in E Minor, Op. 85 by Edward Elgar - English composer of the Romantic era. Its difficulty level is moderate and it is in standard guitar tuning. Standard guitar notation, tabs and detailed left hand fingering included. Duration of the piece is about 3 minutes. I hope you will enjoy learning and playing this beautiful melody!

I've been searching the internet for an arrangement of this beautiful piece for a couple of years. Thank you so much for your arrangement and performance Stefan. I bought your tab after I saw your first recording and I have been practicing it since. I hope one day you finish arranging the rest of the song. There is at least one more emotional climax later in the song that I want to be able to play. I really appreciate this.

Do you think you will ever arrange the fourth movement of this concerto? I've learned it on the cello and it is one of my favorite cello movements of all time. I think it would be awesome to be able to play it on the guitar like you so masterfully arranged with this piece!
