Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros' entire performance at Pukkelpop 2016. 00:51 Man On Fire 07:33 40 Day Dream 14:06 If I Were Free 19:17 Up From Below 29:06 I Don't Wanna Pray 36:36 Home
We all miss Jade a lot... is not the same magic thing without her and the others beautiful girls in the violin and the Nora's accordion and presence. Please come back... you are really wonderful together.
This tour may have lacked Jade but where the band chose to jam out it really brought songs like Up From Below a new breath of air including some performances of Man on Fire. I’d like for a new live album with some of these versions included.

2023 and Edward Sharpe+Magnetic Zeroes still matter to me.. Great performance.. Makes me wondering if they still tour and stuff, gonna check that right away!
She was fired from the band like two years ago. I'm not that sure what the reasons were, but I think it was due drug addiction. If not, someone please correct me.
i think Alex is more free without she and It's better for the show i was at place for This show and that was amazing, and better than many other lives of This crew
Judging by a lot of these comments on something that literally happened years ago, you guys seriously have a problem with MOVING ON. What's done is done. Enjoy the band or don't. We have 3 solid records with Jade to enjoy. Quit patronizing these guys for continuing to do what they love. I personally saw them live without Jade, and I still enjoyed every single second of it. Although I love Jade, there are 10 other very talented individuals in this band.
Believe it or not Voice in your head here I'm the reason you point to the sky I am real Still ONE Man filled with desire Love this set list Deepest regrets that I missed this I was still lost I'm definitely late But I have in fact shown up Magnetic zero is funny because zero holds no value No attraction, no avoidance, no repelling Perfect acceptance Love One love BE THE LIGHT
The indie and the rustic sound and visuals of the group has gone away with Jade's departure. To me, again, to me, Jade was the SOUL of ESMZ's early days. Example, Home doesn't sound or feel anything like the original without Jade's voice. They sound more commercial and they're, of course! The HAPPINESS and 'FLOWNESS' feel and sound that you get from listening to their early day's song with Jade just ISN'T there ANYMORE.
Alex and the band are so amazing, I didn't even realize Jade was gone until I started reading the comments. I do adore her vocals, but I don't miss her.
Where is the girl who used to sing with the band? Her voice is beautiful....And also the good looking blonde playing violin: where is she?Have they maybe left the band??
I always liked Edward Sharpe and Magnetic Zeros. But I think Jade was a flame for the band. This performance look great though, beautiful music but as for vocals I personally miss Jade's voice. Sometimes I find Alex too fake. Good luck anyway!
That's an observation others, including professional critics, share with you. I don't disagree, however I think his intentions are mostly genuine. This performance in particular would have been better had he not been so high, and most likely burned out. As for Jade, I don't think it was safe for her to continue due to addiction. Once the line is crossed into opiates, it's a challenge that requires intense focus to get back to the other side of that line. This I know from my own similar experience.
They shouldn't perform 'Home' without Jade. With her gone and them having fallen out, the sentiment of the song has proven not to be true for them so they shouldn't preach it.
While I agree.. They now have the crowd sing her parts. The lyrics still make sense and still work as a song but nothing compared to the soul that Jade brought to that song in particular. I still love the band. Jades band as well.
So they didn't kick Jade out, they just wanted her to sit out one tour. Why did they want her to sit out one tour? Sounds like some kind of a kick in the teeth for her and the start of the end even if she had stayed. What did they have against her? And what happened to the other girls in the band?
