As a child, I have a distinct memory of my grandparents dancing in the kitchen while singing this song. It was a special moment for me because I rarely saw them let loose and have fun like that. The song was one that they both loved, and it always put them in a good mood. I remember feeling happy and carefree as I watched them dance and sing with each other. Even though I was too young to understand the lyrics, the melody was so catchy that I found myself humming it for days afterward. Sadly, both my grandparents have since passed away, my grandma died from cancer and my grandad played this song for her and sung along during her last hours i guess what they say is true people can die from a broken heart shortly after my grandfather passed we buried them togther and played this song for them once more so whenever I hear this song, it takes me back to that moment in the kitchen with them. It's a memory that I will always hold dear to my heart and makes me cry i hope i find someone to love like they loved🙏❣️

Most simply don't stay together long enough to know the sort of grief that losing someone they've been with for the majority of their lives brings. My ex used to play this song a lot in the early days of our relationship and I’d always liked it a lot. She was so full of joy, love, and hope for the future back then… Time went on and i’d kinda forgotten about it; we split up a couple years ago after we’d drifted in different directions. She recently destroyed herself with drug addiction and I’ve gotten custody of our two children. As soon as I heard this song again the other day I balled my eyes out in this strange happy memory, tears of joy and sadness haze. It makes me think of those road trips and little vacations to New Hampshire when the kids were really little and all the things I thought we’d experience as a family.
