A late comment hoping that you still keep the bike; I would say this gem is worth exhibiting in a jewellary shop. Great job on an iconic bike. Shame 2 strokes are not produced because of environment concerns. It is like running after a beer can thrown while millions of gallons of chemicals poured into the sea.
Beautiful bike. I purchased a new 1984 RG 250 Gamma while living in Kure, Japan. A life long biker, this is still my favorite/most memorable ride. A true out-of-the-box production race bike…turn signals made it street legal there…hah :)
I love the bike but you shouldn't have carbon dipped the frame imo. The rest of the bike is stellar but i can't help thinking how much better it would have looked with a period correct alu finish frame/swing arm, even better polished. Carbodip doesn't look very authentic sadly. But for the rest super job.
