About the Presenter:
Edward Shehab is a certified CBAP, PMP, PgMP, PfMP, SIx Sigma Green Belt and PMOC. He has been training project management and business analysis professionals in USA and Middle East for over 15 years. He holds a Master of Science degree in Managing Programs and Projects from Boston, MA. He is very active in the project training and consulting domain and has contributed to PMI's Standard for Program Management 4th Ed, and also the Practice Standard for Scheduling. Edward Shehab was the first person to be certified as PfMP from PMI in the USA.

One of the Finest Presentations and Knowledge in the subject. Mr Shehab how to contact you please as I would like to learn from your materials and pay for it. I was a PMP (2005-09) and plan to retake after a long time and hence the ask.

it is my understanding that a PMO is a group or department within an organization, why do you refer to PMO as an individual?

The PMO is a group or dept like you said. I am not sure that I would have referred to a PMO as an individual. Which portion of the video are you referring to?

EEFs are essentially the same as performing a SWOT analysis when looking at the org. business case?

EEF's, or Enterprise Environmental Factors, are the current conditions surrounding the project both within the organization and outside of it. I am not sure if Opportunities and Threats would apply as these are always in the future. Strengths and Weaknesses might be contributing factors to the current conditions or EEF's. Hope this clarifies.

Hi Edward! Thanks a lot for your videos here. Hey, how can "Organizational Communication Needs" and "Criteria to Complete" be considered OPAs? Aren't they EEF or something else? Thanks :D

Usually, any knowledge or data we have about the organization (such as Organizational Communication Needs) and also developed processes (Criteria to Complete) would be considered OPA's. EEF's are related more to the environment in which the project is being executed and include the culture, mentality and maturity of the organization, as well as the conditions outside the organization (like the regional laws or cash liquidity, etc...). Hope this helps.
