Going there in Summer 2024! I've always wanted to go to Japan. I've generally never gone on big trips or vacations outside Europe, which often feels underwhelming, since they have for the most part very similar cultures. Not only that, but I was planning on asking my parents if we could book a flight there sometime, which wouldn't have worked since they have their jobs to tend to, so this is a perfect opportunity! It would be nice to learn Japanese while getting to roam around the country and getting familiar with the culture. However, I do plan on trying to learn a little bit of the language before going, since I'd feel awkward roaming around aimlessly. If anyone going at around the same time wants a friend, I'll be here giving you my info in the comments :) I'm not the oldest, but I don't mind!

im mental so ive been working 8 hours a week for a year as a 16 year old just to go to seoul for two weeks. my parents arent in the best situation either so i just want to fly by to say its all possible

Dont go with ef that shit is way too expensive and not worth it travelling on your own there, finding a job will cost you at least 5000$ less. EF is some overpriced shit

@@dai5333 i also live in Europe. I paid 13000euros for 5 months including the flight, school books and classes, host family. That's it. All the other things like EF activies ( they can be 5€ for a small activity or 200€ for a one night trip), transportation I had to pay on my own. Also the Japan (mandatory) trip which is 400€ is not included in the original price of 13k

@@bella-629 Bella if I be honest to you. It was the best decision of my young life. I have meet soooo many friends and inspiring people during my stay at EF. Since then i have been back to Japan twice and every time I also visited the school and the teachers again. It is not about the school itself it ia more about what you make out of your time there and about the people you learn and live with. Like I said it was the best decision of my Life and i can recommend it to everyone who wants to get out of there comfort zone and start learning a new language with new people. I wish you a lot of fun in Tokyo Bella. :)

I'm planning on saving up and going after I've graduated from uni! (I'll be 22 then). Because career related studies always go first of course ;) I've always wanted to go to Japan ever since I was 11 years old and I have been learning Japanese on and off since then, in the last few years I've seriously begun to study grammar and kanji to be able to read untranslated comics but I'll never be able to speak or confidently write it without going there myself! ２０２６年日本に行きます！

My biggest dream is to travel there with EF and study there for a couple of months or a year. I want to make friends of course in Japan, including with other foreign students. I do not know how EF works, especially about the price to go travel there and also the learning books of Japan.
