It is impossible to achieve racial unity, you will always find someone somewhere who does not approve of you or your background, you can never change the thinking and mindset of people regardless of whatever alternatives and schemes a person uses, What a person can really do is hold firm to their principles and beliefs and use them as a defense mechanism when you are under target by such people. I think you missed the point. The point is not necessarily that those are not the best players in the country. The point is after 25 years in a democracy how do we still have a sport that is dominated by a minority? Its a reflection of all things in the country. So for the EFF it is not a true win for a democratic country. I mean the best rugby schools in SA are "white" schools and majority of our people cannot afford to be in those schools, making the point of entry into the school difficult and costly. I celebrated rugby victories a lot in 1995 and 2007, because I was expecting changes in that team going forward. Since this so called South African rugby union is reluctant to comply, I stopped.

First of all, I am not a socialist even though I stand for black empowerment economically. Sports is completely different and politics should stay out of it. But if Ndlozi wants to start talking about the demographics of the country let's do it fairly then, because one can't assume all 56 million black people want to play rugby. Firstly, look at the population of males in SA between the ages of 18-30. Out of this population we should assume that 90% of people would not participate in sports at all. Then we should look at the sports preferences between the races. Let's be honest, a majority of black people would prefer playing soccer than rugby, whereas a majority of white peope would rather play rugby. Secondly, most "white" schools don't even have soccer teams. For instance me and my friends tried to bring soccer to our school, but the principal refused our proposal as it would "negatively effect the rugby" which makes a lot of sense. We should stop looking at colour and start looking at the roots of the problems and also realise that people have a choice as to which sport they would rather associate with. I'm tired of the whole, "there are 56 million blacks and only 4 million whites" bullshit. We are progressing. 24 years ago we only had 1 black player. 12 years later we had 2. And during this world cup we had 11 amazing black players and Mr. Siya Kolisi who lifted the trophy. Imagine what could happen over the next 12 years. I rate we could be heading to a 50/50. (remember don't look at the demographics of the entire country, look at the sports preference demographics as it is more logical.) We are uniting. Whether Mr. Ndlozi likes it or not.
