I'm reloading some of my old videos after I do re-edits because the music police marked a lot of them, "Video blocked in some countries." as a result of my music choices.
Please bear in mind that at the time I was just learning how to make videos. Plus the camera I used then sometimes made my breathing sound very much like Darth Vader.
Thanks for watching my videos,
Hiram

In this video I try a couple of tests to see if a primer pan helps the Vargo Triad to get to bloom faster.

I'm here because I have the old old version with the tiny center hole, and mine won't seem to bloom by itself either. Fanning it and priming it are both fantastic advice. Thank you! Edit: Yup! Doing both together was exactly the advice I needed! Cheers!

I had one of those Triads by Vargo and quickly sold it without ever lighting it up. I am one of the gram weenies and use a 3.5 inch diameter titanium cup and the cup would barely balance on the three legs. Thanks for uploading this. I was expecting 60-75 seconds bloom time was stunned it took 6 minutes to bloom

Hi, I use the XE version of this stove. I squirt some fuel in the holding pan as a primer to help it heat faster. By doing this it only takes a minute to start the outer jets. Your videos are great, thanks.

Hi. I know this is a fairly old video and you may not even have this stove any more, but your problem with the bloom on the initial test is that you aren't filling it all the way. The capacity is about 1.5 oz, and Vargo clearly states to fill it to capacity (with that dime sized pool) for proper performance. Filling it to capacity creates a seal around the edges, which forces the vapor out the jet holes, so it blooms properly. I own one of these, and when I use it, filling it to capacity, it blooms usually in less than 60 seconds. I personally love this stove.

doesn't seem worth it, I never had any trouble with my homemade trangias from trail hounds site. they only cost 2.00 to make and work like the store bought ones if not better

Never seen a better system then your carbon fiber cat can stove. Of course the carbon fiber in tin foil is impressive. This is a joke in my opinion. Thanks for sharing twice!
