a project called "Naked House," designed by penta arquitectura in Lambaré, Paraguay. The house is situated on an 8 x 21 meter plot and is designed to provide a sense of spaciousness on the ground floor and maximum privacy on the upper floor. The building structure is flexible and adaptable, with the ground floor made of metal and the upper floor made of exposed concrete. The upper floor is suspended with diagonal tensioners to create shade.
The house covers 150 square meters and is designed for a couple and their pets, including an open social area, a master bedroom, a study, and a guest bedroom. The design maximizes natural light and ventilation. The upper floor blocks feature a zenith opening for ventilation, and the blind walls use pre-molded blocks that enhance thermal inertia.
Focusing on material efficiency, the design avoids additional coatings except in humid areas. External facilities and fixed wooden veneer furniture retain natural textures. With a cost per square meter below average, this system is accessible to a variety of users, including couples, single parents, housemates, home workers, and people with pets.
