Concentrating extracellular vesicles (EVs) for downstream analysis is an important step in both EV-based applications and in fundamental research. When working with large sample volumes, tangential flow filtration is widely used to concentrate EVs prior to isolation via size exclusion chromatography-based qEV isolation. For smaller volumes, as used across fundamental research and in the development of EV-based diagnostics, there is a need for a fast, scalable approach to EV concentration. In this video, Senior Scientist Kate Timms (PhD) introduces the qEV Magnetic Concentration Kit, highlighting its advantages as a tool for concentrating EVs after they have been isolated using qEV isolation.
