Thank you for another great quilt tutorial. I love the fabric. Like that there wasn't a busy quilting pattern to take away from the fabric. I'll have to try this one, once I find the right fabric.
Hello from Trish, lovely to sit and be inspired on a Sunday morning...that is beautiful, another project to add to my ever growing list....nails are a gorgeous colour Katrina 😂Love to you all...and thank you ❤
I did something similar a long time ago, but it involved a lot of measuring for me - your way is so much simpler that I’m going to make it for one of our girls getaway family weekends. Everyone attending is going to receive a quilt from me.
Thankyou for very encouraging vidéo. This pattern good for practicing cutting skills. No pressure if a liitle wonky. I am still learning and anxious when need to bé very careful. Will given this a try for table runner. 🙂
Thank you for sharing your techniques. I am new to patchwork and quilting and also left handed; it is really helpful to me to see how you do everything.
I love the quilt, but I had a panic attack from the time you cut the first 2 squares. My heart was racing, I started sweating, and I held my breath until you started squaring the block. I would have made the wonkiest quilt in the world! HaHa.
I love the way you demonstrate how to do all these great ideas. I am new to the quilting. Many years ago was mainly into making clothing, this seems more creative. I notice to finalize the newly cut 10” block , it needs the 8 and a half “ template. When buying the templates to square off block how will I know what size to choose. I’m aware of the seam allowance making finished block size not being 10” any more. Thank you for all your videos.
Looks like fun, however, every time I do something with odd shapes I always wind up ripping out more than I actually sew together. Any helpful hints for people who just have a hard time with stuff like that?
Hello, We asked Katrina what advice we might have for this issue and she said - find the centre point of both pieces match them and pin from centre point outwards. Hopefully that’ll help!
From Melbourne Australia, I really enjoy both you an Jeanette creating these beautiful works of art. But please may I ask, are you and Jeanette related. It is unbelievable, at least to my ears, at the way you have, not only the accent but also the voice. Bless you both for all you share with us. Carmen.
Very nice but I didn't like the pop ups of the items used to make the block. Had to keep dismissing them and I hope this isn't an ongoing thing. Just put items used in description.
