I have a polished and coated black car that I hand wash weekly with Gyeon Foam for the prewash and Gyeon Bathe+ for the contact wash. The results, in terms of gloss and hydrophobicity, have been excellent. As an experiment, I increased the concentration of the Bathe+ from the standard 500:1 to 333:1 and applied Wet Coat. The results were quite impressive, with a significant boost in gloss, slickness and hydrophobicity. I'm going to use the Wet Coat as a topper on a monthly basis on my car.

Great video for a fantastic product. My car has Gyeon’s Pure Evo. I wash monthly and use their Ceramic Detailer for maintenance. Every 3 months, I will spray/rinse with WetCoat (in place of Ceramic Detailer)

I bought this after you showing us how great it was a while ago. My R1T took about 2/3 of a bottle to top my ceramic coated paint. That’s the problem with it.

Not a problem. I dilute it 5:1 and it works perfectly! Makes it much more economical every few months 👍

Have my Model S with full body PPF and ceramic coated. I use restart wash to help in the winter, but even with that, sections can get a bit flat and I like using this product to assist, love it. P.S. wheels look sick.

Thank you for telling the truth about the expense regarding ceramic coating. It's not the coating, it's the prep! I've been using Obsessed Garage drying aid and Koch Chemie SiO2 spray sealant as well as Car Pro Ech20 as my toppers. I would say Ech20 can be streaky as can the Koch Chemie when it gets humid. How would you say this compares? (I am coated with CQuartz Pro and CQuartz Finest Reserve). Thanks!

Can you spray on wipe in with a wash mitt or cloth. Then wash it around with water then towel dry ? 🇨🇦👍👍

Could I ceramic coat my car, then periodically apply ceramic/graphene sprays, and then also this Gyeon spray on top of both of those layers? While the ceramic coat/sprays are great, I like the concept of spraying this directly onto the car so that it gets into all the hard to reach spots.

I live in the desert and in the summer I only wash my car after the sun has gone down but my cars body temperature even after being in the garage all day is still very warm being the air temperature is still 100 degrees, after I apply the spray and rinse is it ok to hand dry, also I use a regular garden hose spray nozzle.

YT channel The Car Boutique (UK) did a test with WetCoat. Look it up. They had terrible problems when not completely drying the vehicle. Really interesting video

Heya Coleton. A few questions for you. How would you best remove this thoroughly from the paint /parts if you then decided to apply a ceramic coat? Does a normal hand wash cut through the product? What brand and psi is that pressure washer you use? And finally, after watching your recent Rivian R1T video, I was left wondering why you couldn't/shouldn't/wouldn't ceramic coat all those bronzed trim pieces on the interior you said were constantly fingerprint covered. Thanks!

On my 3 Performance all I’d do before fully coating is at least polish then used a prep product before applying the coating. Mine needs a full paint correction & polish. A normal handwash will not remove Gyeon WetCoat, but heavy degreasers can. I haven’t played with any coatings on the trim inside the Rivian’s. It might help slightly, but it will still fingerprint. Thanks for the questions!

Why not use CanCoat instead of WetCoat ? CanCoat isn't as easy as spraying on but it's a simple wipe on and wipe off and can also be used on all exterior. CanCoat is also cheaper per coat considering that it lasts about a year. Gyeon also recommends CanCoat as a topper. I'm just a bit confused on how both these products fit into the overall product lineup.
