**Channel Update: Important Information from Evoto** Hey everyone! I wanted to share an update regarding Evoto and its integration with Lightroom. As of July 26th, 2024, the process I outlined in my recent video is one of the ways you can use Evoto alongside Lightroom. Here are some important details from Evoto: - **Lightroom Catalog Import/Export**: Evoto currently supports the import and export of Lightroom Catalogs as .lrcat files. You can find more information on this process on Evoto's official website. - **Future Enhancements**: The Evoto team is researching the possibility of allowing direct opening of images from Lightroom in Evoto by right-clicking the image, as well as supporting direct saving back to Lightroom. Evoto is committed to enhancing your experience, and they are eager to hear any suggestions you may have. Your input is crucial in helping them improve their services. Thanks for sharing. I have been trying your workflow successfully and like it. That way it is not necessary to decide whether to edit in Lightroom or Evoto but use the best of both.

Hi Nicole! Are you editing in LR before touching up in Evoto? I batch edit my photos using ai in LR but when I export as the original file format and import those photos to Evoto, the edits don't follow.

Hi Nathan. Yes, I've been editing my photos first in lightroom. I've been exporting adjusted tiffs from lightroom into a new folder and editing those tiffs in evoto. I'm able to see all the edits when I do it this way.

Seems like a lot of extra work :/ , is there a way to just edit with evoto through lrc instead of exporting as Tiffs first?

Hi Tessa. I agree that there are quite a few steps here. I haven’t found a better way to combine Lightroom and evoto. This is the current process people seem to be following. I’m going to reach out to evoto to double check and I’ll report back

I agree. There should be at least an option inside lightroom "edit in" like it is for photoshop or topaz AI

@@soulmate.photo-film @tessalange248 I've heard back from evoto and they are working on having an option in lightroom to switch to evoto. They don't have this yet, so my current process works. Alternatively, you can export lightroom catalogs and this can work with evoto as well. WHAT IS EVOTO? AND WHAT IS PHOTO MECHANIC? AND WHAT IS CULL?

Hi Randall. Evoto is a new ai software that does portrait retouching. Culling is when you go through your photos and pick the best ones. I do this before I edit using software called photomechanic.
