I do love the fit of the white jeans on you, just enough ease to them. AND thanks for reminding me of my black ballet-ish flats. I wore them for a costume, of all things, a couple of years ago, after adding black grosgrain ribbon ties. Seems about perfect for this year's smash-up of ballet flats, Mary Janes, and bows. Fantastic! You look great in all those sets. My favorites were the denim skirt mix because I have seldom seen that style yet have always thought it was casual while flattering to the wearer. Hoping that is a trend that returns in more force. But like I stated there was not a one that you did not look gorgeous in despite whether they are considered simple or not. Great review.

My uniform for the North Carolina summer heat: white cotton Ts, faded jeans, and mixed gold/ silver jewelry. I buy nice upscale Ts made from 100% cotton. Another outfit to deal with the heat: Cotton cami top, with linen trousers, and chunky gold jewelry. When it's steamy outside I need fabrics that absorb moisture. Nothing synthetic. Also, I personally think straight, sleek hair looks cooler in hot humid weather.

Love the Merino Wool Sweater Polo top you're wearing. It's the perfect transition from winter to spring as it's still pretty chilly here in San Diego (says the thin blooded California...lol).

I wanted to pop on here and tell you the tailored jean trousers from Amazon came and they drape so well and look expensive....and they pair specially well with that linen vest from Gap that you had mentioned. I wish I had ordered the x small vest but the size small still looks great. My bust is way smaller than yours (i hope thats is helpful to you incase you decide to give in and order it). Its so niiiiiiiice. I ordered the matching 365 linen trousers as soon as the vest arrived and I saw the quality. I never worry about wasting money on your recs. They all slap so hard. I think if I lived in a hot climate (if the U.K. hits Florida temperatures we’re at a standstill 😊) I would wear high neck tops because that area of skin must be one of the worse places to get sunburned. It probably shows a lot of sun damage too as we age. That style suits you.

Love your selections! I am so over ripped, faded, distressed, ribbing jeans. I wish I could wear silk, but hot flashes won’t let me 😩. Where can I find classic, dark blue, non ankle length, non flare, great fitting jeans. It’s like they are non existent.

It’s not my style. Hi I live in Philadelphia so the climate and urban culture in general are completely different from Florida. One of your videos I watched yesterday you said that really resonated with me is that you used to have a closet full of color but nothing matched. And that all your clothes were meant for going out to a night club where you never went. That is EXACTLY MY WARDROBE! I have SOOOOOO many clothes but everything is color, nothing matches, and it’s all too dressy to wear everyday. Although we have a lot of differences in style that really made me relate to you. You also mentioned that you love color but have moved toward neutrals. I have never really liked wearing neutrals but watch a young lady 27 (Shelby Church) on RU-vid who wears exclusively neutrals and I have really assessed her wardrobe and have come to like the all neutral palette. It’s easy, classic, interchangeable, never goes out of style, inconspicuous so no one pays attention to you wearing the same thing over. Although I live in Philly I do not like to wear black AT ALL. You are giving a lot of good ideas though that apply to almost any style. I like that you reiterate that all your opinions are toward your own style and realize they may not apply to everyone. I also like that you are open minded and flexible with changing your mind about what you once did not like and do like now. I feel like your style is not like mine but I love to see your style on you, if that makes sense. I wanted to mention I DO love vests and have quite a few of them. Also, blue and white stripe shirts are one of my favorites too. I love the stipe top and skirt you wore. That was very pretty. I went to florida as a child but have not been there in so many years. I’m winding how the wool items are worn in florida being so hot. I heard you mention it’s cold there in the morning and night and hot during the day but wool seems strange for florida. I’ve even seen people wearing UGG boots in florida. How is that possible?

I can’t stand a turtle neck really anytime of year. I feel like I’m choking and I’m small. In the summer I would absolutely die!! I can’t even tolerate a necklace when the heat is on. SMH

Those silk pieces are very very pretty!! Wild silk, I need to check it out! I like the kind of silk that’s not too shiny and has those knots in it. Is that wild silk? I love white jeans and a white shirt. My husband always says I look like I’m about the paint the house, though!
