thank you so much! its now 01/02/23 and I have had the generator for a bit. What I would like to know - how to use videos already in canva elements? ideas?
@@YoursInflight Glad it's helpful! So they easiest way I've found is to use any video or image as a 'stand in', and then when the video is created, just swap out that image/video for whichever video in the Canva libraries you want. You should still be able to just click and drag to replace any media in the generated video. Let me know if that doesn't make sense! 😝
Canva's AI tool sounds dope for video content. Been playing around with similar tools to boost my social media game. Boost app social has been a solid ally, especially for enhancing those profile details. It's like that secret ingredient you didn't know you needed.
Wonderful video composition. I noticed you create videos not just for creating sake, but you actually have something important to share. The videos are straightforward, simple and you answer questions even before we ask, showing the teaching capabilities you possess. Hats off for you Wayne!!! Thanks a lot.
This is an excellent introduction to a new AI tool. More often even the tool makers themselves are over complicating the explanation and guidance provided, this is straightforward and shows how to use the tools effectively. Excellent video as per usual
I'm glad it was helpful. Like all these tools itr can take a bit of experimenting to get it working just the way you want it, but this certainly makes it easier to get a really good starting point.
I've got it in my Canva! Thank you Wayne. I hate doing videos and feel completely inept. This is brilliant and I am ready to try it using your direction.
Awesome!! I am going to keep experimenting and may do some more in this tool. I TOTALLY get the video thing. I love creating videos l, but social videoed and reels are my Achilles heal lol.
@@createdbywayne I am even thinking I may attempt to combine this with FB ads... That may be a little much but I am thinking it is worth the practice to see what I can create. Playing with it is probably the best way forward 😁
Glad I found your channel! Great video! I am just now working with the new ‘magic’ tools. It really is a lot of fun. One of the things I strongly recommend if using videos for RU-vid. If wanting to monetize and that's a purpose, I strongly recommend text overlays and if wanting to, to speak them. They are seeming to crack down on naming sure people are actually making their videos. In other words, no reuse and so let’s say someone found a video clip they wanted to use for RU-vid, if the original is on Canva, you must edit it up. I wouldn't just add one tiny change as they would still see can see that as reuse of it’s minimal effort. I have Canva Pro so I can edit up videos, but I'm seeing a ton of Ai videos that are just all Ai and nothing added by a human. It is people and or an Ai that is reviewing creator accounts. Trust me, some of my early videos have some minimal adds, and maybe it’s those I don’t know but I’ve been denied by YT twice and twice with appeals too. I’m only giving it one more chance so I’m revamping my channel so I may pull some right down, or may pull them and redo some etc. Faceless channels, to me, are the most difficult to prove a human is making it especially faceless/voiceless. So a video like this is very helpful as I want to add some shorts that have RU-vid music with Canva animations or video clips I have a bunch of nature clips. You never know when their grouchy Ai will ding you. So I always advise don’t skimp on adding your own flair to videos. Example as I said text overlays. Even on faceless voiceless you can add text, I just never had much before. I don’t want to see tons of channels go through the process of making videos just to get denied. It’s not even a need to be monetized for me, I just have the need to prove that I am the one doing the work. I’m not hiring anyone to do the videos for me. Good luck to everyone for whether this is for a school project or online YT etc. No matter what have fun with it, make it your own, use these Canva tools which are improving all the time (I don’t work for them I just really enjoy making a ton of different types of videos and seeing what works and what doesn’t.) Thanks again for the video!!😊
I’m very excited to hear this as canva, splice, luma fusion, and fcp for iPad user where I have use all on occasion to create on piece of short video content for my social media platforms. Very time consuming 😢 I have Canva pro and looking forward to creating my first magic video today. Thank YOU so much! I’m subscribing today.
I’m new to all of this stuff. But, learning quick. And yes, I do have this new feature, which should make things a lot easier for me. Just subscribed. Thanks.
Yeah Invideo is pretty amazing. I guess it depends on what you need for your type of videos - but there are some really exciting new tools every week now! 😁
I'm a Canva Pro user and couldn't find it available yet. Guess it will be part of what they're announcing as "Magic is Coming" in 4 days. BTW, just discovered your channel and immediately subscribed as I love information well gathered and presented in a concise and clear form. Thanks!
Excellent Wayne I think your funnel you created is great it was not too forceful and not too pushy it was gentle and led me right in as it was supposed to. I am for sure going to share the information. I think I will use the gentle email funnel and I like the email today about signing up for your social media RU-vid and IG that's great marketing.
Hi Wayne, I'm excited about this feature. Reels can be daunting for me, so this definitely simplifies the production process. It is NOT yet in my Pro account. Looking forward to getting it though!
Oh I’m the same with reels! My perfectionism goes into overdrive lol. But I’m excited to try and experiment more. I know they’re rolling it out in stages, so hopefully it won’t be too long! 😊
Absolutely. At the moment you start by getting media from your 'uploads' folder, or uploading some new media, but once you have the video framework you can swap in any videos or images from the Canva library really easily.
That is great! I did not see AI Video in my Canva (PRO), but thought it could be an idea changing the language in the Canva settings from Norwegian to English. Now I have access to the AI Video tool :D
Simply and clearly explained and to the point. Thank you. And a question: Is it possible to add images from folders to the video? I only see images from the general upload section.
Hey Sven! Currently to start with you can only upload images, or choose from the uploads folder, but once you have the initial video structure in place you can swap out images and video from any folder or from Canva's video and image library. Hopefully they'll allow folder access soon. Thanks for the lovely comment! 🖤
Hi Wayne , Great video. Can you please advice if I can use prerecorded soundtrack of sprach to the new video feature and can I use it with animation of my characters on video ? Kind regards
Thank you! I don't think this would work with pre-recorded or animated speech clips. BUT, Canva does have an app that allows you to create an animated 'avatar' as part of their presentations tool...so may be worth you checking that out. It's called "D-ID Al Presenters"
It is indeed interesting to see the efforts made by AI to make it easier for us to create content on the internet ... however, I find this kind of video not very engaging to really break through on the internet! Captivating hooks and human creativity are not yet about to be replaced by AI. It would have been nice if we could create an AI capable of editing video in our own style, for us ...
Hey Jade - I absolutely agree. There is so much potential for these tools to be REALLY helpful, but at the moment of a lot of them are a bit overhyped in my opinion. And you can see the results lack individuality! But hopefully they are at least making life easier for small creators and businesses. 🖤
great tool! solving a lot of my problems. Only thing is you can only use canvas library of sounds. I wish it could upload trending sounds . Know if there have been any upgrades to incorporate this kind of thing?
Hey! Once the video has been created by Canva, you can delete the audio and upload your own to include. Not sure about how you'd download trending IG sounds FROM IG tho I'm afraid - but you can certainly upload your own. Or you can delete the audio track and export with no sound and add your own in the IG app! 😁
I really like Canva and use it in my business, but it is not easy. I would love to use AI to create if there is a true tutorial that takes it a step at a time.
Hey Lynn! Canva can be a bit overwhelming but it's very powerful once you get confident with using it. Are there specific things you struggle with? I'm going to be covering the AI tools that I think are ACTUALLY useful and don't take MORE time to use in my upcoming course.🖤
Thank you. I guess I don't know, what I don't know. I was designing something for Instagram when I noticed you can add video. Is there a length of time or a cut off # of seconds I should know?
@@yourbestbuddydogtraining For instagram reels (the vertical format video) the max length of a video is 90 seconds...although in general shorter videos seem to do well (people have short attention spans 😜) If you post a video reel, you can also have it show in your grid just like a static post would.
I live in the UK. I have Canva Pro, but I don't have this AI design feature. I don't even have the Design Tab above the Elements Tab as shown in your video. Am I doing something wrong?
Hi Heather ! That is a little stranger as the design tab is part of the basic UI. It may be worth dropping a support ticket to Canva and getting them to check on that. You may also be able to access the AI video tool by starting a new mobile video, and then seeing if the option to "Generate videos instantly" appear on the top left of the design in the menu. If not, definitely check in with Canva
I'm in Canada and have Canva Pro. When I go to the videos, IG reels, I don't see the "Generate videos instantly" that you mentioned. I do see an announcement that "Magic is coming" on October 4th so likely that's when the announcement is.
This has just been released in Canva last week, so you should be able to see it. If you don't see it in your dashboard you can email support@canva.com and they should be able to help you. 🖤
This looks a lot like an highly improved version of Caplet's Autocut... boy I wish they'd increase the roll out speed, still don't have it here and we're on premium... You wouldn't have any contacts at Canva? 😀
🤣 Sadly not - I'm not a big enough fish yet 😜. It does feel like a very similar idea. Their support guys are normally pretty good, so they may be able to at least give you a timeline. support@canva.com
Thank you for this. Now I've watched your video it's not as daunting as it first appeared. I love how you simplify things and yes, I have the tools on my Canva platform.
I know they were rolling it out in stages, but I'm afraid I don't know for sure which regions it still isn't available for. You could drop an email to support@canva.com and check with them directly.
Hey Wayne, Your videos are excellent and easy to understand. I am learning a lot; I am also trying to create a three-minute video for my own songs. Can I just create animation or my own footage into my songs that I would like to try? I couldn't find any video. Do you think you can by using Canva AI tools?
Thank you! 😊 Generally the video AI tools in Canva are better suited to really short videos, so I don't know if it would work with something like a song of 2-3mins, but you could always import your song into Canva and then use stock clips or graphics animated with the song. Or you could try source some longer clips so that you only need to combine 3 or 4 for a longer audio track. Hope that helps.
Sure - you can upload a voiceover track and use that as your audio, but if that doesn't work you can always use tools like Canva's presentation tool to do animated visuals with Voiceover. There's a few ways to do it, but if it's length voiceover then I think there are probably tools that would be better suited. 🖤
I know they were still rolling this feature out in some regions, but it may be worth checking with support@canva.com - hopefully it won't be long before you can play around with it! 😁🖤
Hey Wayne, thanks for the invaluable content! I designed my sales page using your free template, and it looks fantastic. However, I'm struggling to install the Facebook pixel for tracking and retargeting purposes. Do you have any suggestions or a guide on this? Cheers!
Hey George. Unfortunately it looks like you can't install the pixel on a Canva website page yet. Another viewer said their workaround was to add it to the checkout they were using to track that way. Sadly Canva websites are still lacking some functionality that would really take them to the next level. Hope this helps! 🖤
Hi Humberto! Good catch - the figure is *1200%* more (as per the text one screen), but I said 1200 *times* more. And it comes from a research document from Biteable. You can find the link and all their source references here: biteable.com/blog/video-marketing-statistics/
Hi Janetta! In that case this tool is probably not the best suited. But you can easily edit those kinds of videos by trimming and splicing in Canva's normal video tool. But to get captions for those kinds of videos I'd suggest using Capcut, or the Captions app, or even something like submagic.co. Thanks for taking the time to leave a question! 🖤
You can always create a design with several pages, and add Canva elements & images to those pages, and then export those as images. Then could can upload THOSE as your media to use. Or just use any media as placeholders, and you can then swap them with media from Canva's libraries once the initial is created.
Hey Sven - it was also delayed getting set up in my account. If you email support@canva.com with your details and a grab of what your Canva dashboard looks like they should be able to help you! 🖤
This is great thanks, showing on my Pro account. Hopefully soon their captions will be more customisable. Dont really like them presenting the background firts, and only then the caption. Background and text should appear simultaneously in Captions
I totally agree Henri! I also hope they are working on developing auto captioning for videos - that would be a real game changer for a lot of people. Thanks for being here and taking the time to leave a comment! 🖤
@@createdbywayne I really hope so too. Sooner than Later. Auto Captioning is such an important feature now and I am sure they're aware of this. Keep up the great work !
Yup - like most social short-form video. This tool (like a lot of others to be fair) just makes it that much easier and quicker for people to create...especially if they are used to the Canva eco-system. Thanks for your comment.
Hey! Thanks for letting me know. I know they are still rolling out to some regions, so that MAY be why. But you can always check in with support@canva.com. Hopefully it won't be too long before you have a chance to play around with it! 😁
Not as yet, but Canva do have an app that can do that for you for presentations, so you could theoretically play around with combining these features. The Canva app is called D-ID Al Presenters. Hope you can make it work! 🖤
Didn't work for me and I am on a pro subscription. Only let me choose 3 pics and the music was absolutely awful. So I will wait for it to get better. It would make life easier if it worked.
It seems other people have had the same issue - so hopefully it's just a roll-out glitch and they'll get it sorted. Totally agree - these tools are only really useful if they SAVE you time and hassle! 😛
Thanks for letting us know! Not sure what you mean by 'real nasty', but other people have also reported it only allowing 3 media choices - which is annoying, so hopefully it's just a short-term issue as they roll it out to all regions.
Canva has some great basic tutorials that may be worth exploring to get more comfortable with the basics. You can check them out here: www.canva.com/designschool/
