Dead-end? Not quite. But in comparison to Effy’s crazy whirlwind of a life as a child and teen, it’s definitely underwhelming and sad

Dead end doesn’t necessarily mean the pay is bad it just means there’s little to no chance of advancing in the company you work for

They were good stories tbf but it was a shame that their past never really came into play, at least in a narrative sense

Yess! I thought we would get a little bit more of how she/they coped with Freddies death. And also what I wanted to know the most is did they ever learnt that Frieddie died? Beause in the last episode of season 4 they only knew that he dissapeard. God I would want to know more :D

Eszter Bagyura I completely agree but at the same time this is not only an accurate representation of what growing up is like compared to your teenage years, but that after years certain people and events aren’t spoken about anymore

I feel like the producers tried to find a way to insert Naomi and Emily into the episode without making an entire episode about them, because they were popular characters. With that being said, though, I think most people disliked the last 3 Skins episodes. Naomi getting cancer and that entire story arc was so forced. There was never even a follow-up about the Freddie story at all in her episode, and you'd think that would realistically have had a huge impact on Effy and the rest of their friend group (not just Cook).

Maybe cause freddy died in 4th season

I've noticed a lot of old shows I watched as a kid from the 2000's, from the 2010's even being officially uploaded to RU-vid by copyright holders. I guess they figured if people are going to upload it anyway they might aswell do it themselves and make some adrevenue. Not bad for an old property.
